Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Fright on Franklin rescheduled to October 27th

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Fright on Franklin, which had been planned for Saturday, October 26th, has been rescheduled because of the threat of inclement weather.

Fright on Franklin will be from 3:00pm-6:00pm Sunday, October 27th, 2019 in historic downtown Clarksville.

Fright on Franklin, presented by Altra Federal Credit Union, is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests and more. Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon and evening of fun Halloween-themed activities.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation has partnered with Altra Federal Credit Union for the 11th annual Fright on Franklin from 3:00pm-6:00pm Saturday, October 26th, 2019 in Downtown Clarksville.

Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and more in historic downtown Clarksville. Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon and evening of fun Halloween-themed activities.

A costume contest will be staged at the City Hall/US Bank parking lot. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Costume” in each age group and “Best Group.” Pre-registration is required online at www.ClarksvilleParksRec.com through October 25th. The contest is free to enter.

Nashville Zoo to hold Second Family Camp Out

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Ever wonder what Nashville Zoo is like at night? Now’s your chance to find out at Zzzoofari Slumber set for August 31st- September 1st, 2019. Join the Zoo for a unique camping experience as you sleep under the stars just a short distance away from the snoozing animals.

Zzzoofari Slumber is an overnight camp session for families and escorted children (recommended for ages 4 – 12). Enjoy a variety of activities that include hayrides, carousel and zip line rides (until 7:00pm), inflatables, an animal show, crafts, evening hot dog and marshmallow roast and a full breakfast and admission to the Zoo on Sunday.

Nashville Zoo announces Tickets now on Sale for Boo at the Zoo

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Tennessee’s littlest ghosts and goblins are invited to enjoy a night of delightfully frightful fun at Boo at the Nashville Zoo.

Our annual Halloween tradition is set for 11 nights: October 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th, 2018. Boo at the Zoo runs from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

Kids can come dressed in their favorite costume and enjoy carnival games, carousel rides, hayrides, shows and trick-or-treating.

The annual evening event offers families a safe and exciting Halloween experience for kids under age 12.

Nashville Zoo Tickets On Sale Now for Boo at the Zoo

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Nashville’s littlest ghosts and goblins are invited to enjoy a night of delightful fun at Boo at the Zoo, presented by The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial. Our annual Halloween tradition is set for ten nights: October 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th.

Boo at the Zoo runs from 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturdays and from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on non-Saturday event nights. Kids can come dressed in their favorite costume and enjoy carnival games, carousel rides, hayrides, shows and trick-or-treating.
