Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, August 21st, 2019, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a widespread water outage at 10:00pm on a section of Ashland City Road from Avondale Drive to South Riverside Drive and on South Riverside Drive and North Riverside Drive to College Street for 24 inch water main line and water valve maintenance work.
Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Section of Highway 48/13 and Greenland Farms Drive Water Outage Planned
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has announces a planned water outage overnight on Tuesday, July 9th, at 10:00pm for water main improvement work on a section of Highway 48/13 from Hillwood Drive to Southern Parkway, on Greenland Farms Drive from Oak Hill Drive to Highway 48/13 and the Clarksville Academy Sports Complex.
Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have arrested Joshua Hamilton, 25, for aggravated assault, felony evading, DUI, and numerous drug charges.
On Saturday, September 24th, 2016, at 1:25am, while deputies were working to a clear traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 149 and 48, Hamilton approached the scene and was instructed to pull over due to the odor of marijuana emanating from his vehicle.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department will be reading meter routes on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 from 7:00am until 3:30pm. The revised meter reading schedule will help make-up for lost reading time due to recent inclement weather.
Meter readers can be identified by their official City of Clarksville issued Gas and Water photo badge, uniform and clearly marked vehicle.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will turn off water service on Hillwood Drive from Cainridge Drive to Johnson Circle for water valve replacement work.
Area residents may experience low water pressure during the work.
Clarksville, TN – There was a sulfuric acid spill in the Zinc Plant Road and Cumberland Drive (Hwy 48/13) area sometime after 7:00pm and the road was closed on Cumberland Drive between Hawkins Road and Hillwood Drive.
The roadway is now open.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are asking the public to stay away from the area of Zinc Plant Road and Cumberland Drive (Hwy 48/13). There is a sulfuric acid spill in the area and the road is closed on Cumberland Drive between Hawkins Road and Hillwood Drive.

Clarksville, TN – On November 18th, around 3:38pm, a 16 year old juvenile was being transported to a Juvenile Detention facility when he kicked opened the door of the van, rolled out onto the roadway, got up, and ran into a wooded area. Clarksville, TN – Another man, Henry Lee Hayes has been charged and booked into the Montgomery County jail for their role in the robbery of a 79 year old woman. Detective Tyler Barrett was able to determine that Hayes was part of the planning process for the robbery and drove the getaway car from the 79 year old woman’s Hillwood Drive residence.
The investigation also showed that Hayes followed the victim to her residence and waited to drive Sumner away from the robbery scene.
