Jackson, TN – The improbable became the impossible as midnight struck on the Austin Peay State University baseball season, Saturday night, in an Ohio Valley Conference tourney elimination game at the Ballpark at Jackson.
After finishing a game at 2:48am, Thursday, and playing a 4-hour, 44-minute dramatic 13-inning game earlier Saturday, the physically-taxed Govs ran out of magic and pitching late against No. 1 seed Southeast Missouri, falling 10-4.

Clarksville, TN – Opportunities were plentiful but Austin Peay State University’s baseball could not capitalize on the chances in a 7-3 Ohio Valley Conference loss to Southeast Missouri, Sunday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park. The Govs won the three-game OVC set, 2-1.
Austin Peay (18-12, 10-5 OVC) was put on the defensive early as Southeast Missouri scored three runs in a rocky second inning.

APSU Baseball Govs hold off Southeast Missouri Redhawks for 8-6 win

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team scored the game’s first six runs then held on late to claim an 8-6 Ohio Valley Conference victory against Southeast Missouri, Saturday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park. The Govs clinch the three-game league set with the win, Game 3 to be played at 1:00pm, Sunday.
After three scoreless frames, Austin Peay (18-11, 10-4 OVC) got on the scoreboard first with a two-run fourth inning.

Cape Girardeau, MO – Austin Peay State University third baseman Logan Gray hit a home run in three consecutive innings to force extra innings, but Southeast Missouri prevailed in 13-innings, 12-11, in Ohio Valley Conference action, Sunday, at Capaha Field.
