Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 6 of the 2020 season, the Tennessee Titans hosted the division opponent Houston Texans and won in overtime by a score of 42-36

Tennessee set a franchise record with 601 net yards of offense, and posted just the fourth all-time NFL performance with a 200-yard rusher (RB Derrick Henry), 300-yard passer (QB Ryan Tannehill) and 100-yard receiver (TE Anthony Firkser) while advancing to 5-0 on the season.

Tennessee Titans last game against Jacksonville Jaguars

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 2 of the 2020 season, the Tennessee Titans hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars for their home opener and won by a score of 33-30. Tennessee advanced to 2-0 on the season for the first time since 2008.

The Titans opened up the game with a three-play scoring drive that elapsed 98 seconds.

QB Ryan Tannehill’s first pass of the game went 63 yards to TE Jonnu Smith, and two plays later Smith caught a 13-yard score for an early 7-0 Titans lead. On the following Jacksonville possession, rookie CB Kristian Fulton picked off Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew II and returned the ball 44 yards.

Tennessee Titans last game against Baltimore Ravens

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In the Divisional Round of the 2019 playoffs, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Baltimore to face the top-seeded Ravens and won by a score of 28-12. The Titans’ 217 rushing yards set a new franchise postseason mark, and the Tennessee defense notched four fourth-down stops and three takeaways.

Tennessee got on the board in the first quarter and never surrendered the lead. On the Ravens’ opening possession, Baltimore posted its first turnover of the day as Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw an interception to S Kevin Byard who returned the ball 31 yards.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans return to Nissan Stadium this week to face the Buffalo Bills in a clash of undefeated teams. The Titans are 3-0 for the first time since 2008, while the Bills are 4-0 for the first time since 2008.

This is the first occasion since Nissan Stadium opened in 1999 in which two undefeated teams after three or more weeks of a season will take the field. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT on Sunday, October 11th, 2020.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (1-0) play their home opener this week against the AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0). Kickoff at Nissan Stadium is scheduled for noon CDT on Sunday, September 20th, 2020.

For the first time, the Titans will host a game at Nissan Stadium with no fans present. In August, the Titans and the city of Nashville announced the decision that no fans would attend the contest due to COVID-19 Coronavirus restrictions. No decision has been announced for the remaining Titans home dates, including three games in October.

Tennessee Titans roster includes young players with promise

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – While the Tennessee Titans have several veterans scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this offseason, including Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry, Jon Robinson has crafted a roster replete with young, promising talent. Possibly no player embodies the combination of hope and early productivity more than A.J. Brown, last year’s second-round pick.

Brown, the 51st overall draft selection in 2019, led Tennessee in every major receiving category as a rookie, totaling 52 catches for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns.

Tennessee Titans last game against Houston Texans

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 15 of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans hosted the Houston Texans for the first of two contests between the clubs in a three-week span. Tennessee fell to Houston at home, 24-21.

On Houston’s opening possession, Texans QB Deshaun Watson drove his offense down the field into Titans’ territory. On second-and-seven at the Tennessee 20-yard line, Watson’s pass was intercepted at the one-yard line by S Kenny Vaccaro to end Houston’s scoring threat and keep it a scoreless game.
