Salt Lake City, UT – The Nashville Sounds defeated the Salt Lake Bees, 8-6, on Monday evening at Smith’s Ballpark.
Right-hander Taylor Jungmann (3-4) turned in his best outing in his past four starts, picking up the victory with a quality start for Nashville. He held the Bees to two runs on four hits over six frames of work.
Catcher Matt Pagnozzi homered and drove in three runs while Pete Orr went 3-for-4 and Caleb Gindl also plated three to lead the Sounds’ offensive effort.

Salt Lake City, UT – Nashville hitters belted a pair of homers to back another solid start by top prospect Jimmy Nelson in the Sounds’ 7-4 victory over the Salt Lake Bees at Smith’s Ballpark on Saturday evening in the opener of a four-game series.
With the win, the Sounds (39-38) snapped their season-high eight-game losing streak.
Nelson (8-2) worked his 13th quality outing in 14 trips to the hill this season for Nashville, picking up the win after allowing three runs on five hits while fanning five batters in seven innings of work.
Brian Baker Tosses Five Scoreless Frames For Nashville In No-Decision
Nashville, TN – Efren Navarro drove in a pair of runs to power the visiting Salt Lake Bees to a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Sounds on Sunday evening at Greer Stadium.
Salt Lake right-hander Garrett Richards (6-3) turned in a solid start for the Bees to earn the victory, holding Nashville to one run on five hits while striking out seven batters over 8 1/3 innings.
Sounds starter Brian Baker continued his recent string of outstanding pitching performances with five scoreless innings but Salt Lake scored two runs against the Nashville bullpen to claim the victory.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to come from behind and win 5-3 over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday night at Greer Stadium. The win was the Sounds’ second consecutive come-from-behind victory against the Bees and 12th of the season.
Twenty of Nashville’s 56 victories this season have come when the Sounds score the winning run in their final turn at the plate, which has been the case in six of the club’s last eight wins.
Designated hitter Taylor Green led the charge, going 3-for-4 with a double and RBI.
Claudio Vargas Outstanding Again For Nashville In No-Decision
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to claim a 2-1 victory over the Salt Lake Bees on Friday evening at Greer Stadium in front of 7,551 fans in the opener of a four-game series.
Trailing 1-0 entering the final half-inning, Nashville rallied for the win against a pair of Salt Lake relievers, scoring the game-winner when Humberto Quintero drew a two-out, bases-loaded walk from Bees left-hander Andrew Taylor.
Tacoma, WA – The Nashville Sounds split a doubleheader with the Tacoma Rainiers on Thursday evening at Cheney Stadium, dropping the first game, 4-1, and taking the nightcap, 3-2.
Nashville (17-29) avoided a series sweep with the victory in the doubleheader finale, and finished 4-4 on the eight-game road trip.
Sounds starter Sam Narron (3-1) continued his strong pitching in the nightcap for the victory. The left-hander tossed his third consecutive quality start, giving up two runs on five hits with six strikeouts over six innings pitched.
Tacoma, WA – The Tacoma Rainiers belted three home runs en route to a 5-3 victory over the Nashville Sounds on Monday evening at Cheney Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.
The Sounds (17-26) jumped out to an early lead, plating a pair of unearned runs against Tacoma starter Fabio Castro in the top of the first inning following a fielding error by shortstop Sean Kazmar. Catcher George Kottaras continued his recent hot hitting by delivering a two-out, two-run single in the frame.
