Tennessee Titans on the road Sunday to face the Oakland Raiders

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (4-6) play their first of three consecutive road games this week, traveling to Oakland to face the Raiders (4-6) in a late afternoon matchup. Kickoff at O.co Coliseum (capacity 53,286) is scheduled for 3:05pm CST on Sunday, November 24th.

The Titans have not played at Oakland since the 2004 season and have not won at O.co Coliseum since 2001. They have taken the two most recent battles in Tennessee (2007 and 2010), although the Raiders hold a 27-19 overall series lead, including playoffs.

Tennessee Titans return home to face the Tampa Bays Buccaneers

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Titans (5-5) return to LP Field (capacity 69,143) this week after two games on the road. They square off against their third consecutive opponent from the NFC South, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6), on Sunday, November 20th.

Kickoff is scheduled for noon CST. The Titans are 7-2 all-time against the Buccaneers, including a 6-0 mark at home. However, the Buccaneers got the better of the Titans in the most recent matchup, winning 13-10 at Raymond James Stadium in 2007.

After that game, the Titans went on a 12-game winning streak against NFC clubs. They have won 13 of their last 15 games against the NFC, and their .711 interconference winning percentage since 2002 realignment ranks third in the NFL.

The matchup with the Chargers will be the Titans’ final game before a bye in Week 9, their latest bye since 2005 (Week 10). In Jeff Fisher’s head coaching career, his teams are 9-6 all-time before the bye and 9-6 after the bye.
