Greenville, SC – No. 14/16 Tennessee (16-6, 9-4 SEC), the No. 3 seed, has advanced to the semifinal round of the SEC Tournament and will meet No. 7/7 South Carolina (20-4, 14-2 SEC), the No. 2 seed, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
No. 1 seed Texas A&M and No. 4 seed Georgia will meet in the other semifinal round match-up at 3:00pm CT on Saturday.
The Tennessee Lady Vols will be making their first appearance in the SEC semifinal round since 2016, when they did so in Jacksonville, FL, before falling to Mississippi State, 58-48.

Knoxville, TN – No. 14/16 Tennessee women’s basketball (15-6, 9-4 SEC), which earned the No. 3 seed by virtue of its third-place regular-season finish, will open play on Friday night at the SEC Tournament in Greenville, SC.
The Lady Vols will face the winner of Thursday’s game between sixth-seeded #13/13 Arkansas (19-7, 9-6 SEC) and No. 11 seed Ole Miss (10-10, 4-10 SEC) at approximately 7:15pm CT on Friday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
In head-to-head match-ups this season, UT defeated (then) No. 13/13 Arkansas, 88-73, on January 7th in Knoxville and erased a 13-point deficit to beat Ole Miss in Knoxville, 68-67, on January 28th.
College Station, TX – No. 16/19 Tennessee women’s basketball pulled within one late in the fourth but couldn’t overcome a No. 6/5 Texas A&M team that shot 63 percent from the floor in the final quarter and also hit 17 of 22 free throws in that period, falling 80-70 in Reed Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Knoxville, TN – The No. 25/RV Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team took a four-point lead into the final quarter but couldn’t hold on, falling 67-61 to No. 3/5 UConn in Thompson-Boling Arena on Thursday night in front of a crowd of 3,553, the largest of any NCAA women’s game thus far in 2020-21.

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (6-1, 0-0 SEC) finally opens Southeastern Conference play on Thursday, as No. 13/13 Arkansas (10-2, 1-1 SEC) comes to Thompson-Boling Arena.
Knoxville, TN – Senior Rennia Davis turned in a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team to a 77-52 win over Lipscomb in Thompson-Boling Arena on Monday night.
Junior Rae Burrell finished with 10 points to join Davis in double figures for Tennessee (6-1), and senior Kasiyahna Kushkituah and sophomore Tamari Key each added nine. Every active player for the Lady Vols finished with at least two points.
Lipscomb (3-3) was led by senior Taylor Clark who had 14 points and four rebounds.

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee (3-1) and No. 15 Indiana (2-1) will face off Thursday afternoon in Bloomington, with the schools playing for only the second time ever.
The Lady Vols and Hoosiers will meet at 3:01pm CT in IU’s Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Consistent with IU Athletics’ ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of students, coaches, staff, spectators and the local community, the game will be played without fans in attendance. IU Athletics’ decision is in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and is consistent with what has transpired on all Big Ten campuses during the 2020 football season.

Knoxville, TN – #RV/RV Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball team (2-0) hits the road for the first time during the 2020-21 campaign, as the Lady Vols make their way to Morgantown to face the West Virginia Mountaineers (3-0) in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge at 1:00pm CT on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 at 14,000-seat WVU Coliseum.
The venue will be eerily quiet, however, as WVU, state and local officials are prohibiting spectators from attending indoor athletic events for the entire month of December due to recent spikes in positive cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Only essential game operations personnel and families of players and staff will be admitted.
