Clarksville Police to hold Community Meeting for New Providence Residents

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department will be holding a Community Meeting for the residents of the Operation Defiance/New Providence area on March 13th, 2012, 5:00pm at the New Providence Community Center located at 640 Providence Boulevard.

This meeting will give the residents an opportunity to meet Clarksville Police Chief Ansley, the Police officers and partners working to improve New Providence, receive the latest information about the ongoing projects, learn first-hand of upcoming events, programs and services available to the New Providence community.

Tri-Cities Magicians’ Society meeting scheduled

 

magicianThe Tri-Cities Magicians’ Society will be holding their next meeting 6:30 p.m on July 21st, at the Shoney’s on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. The group composed of magicians from Clarksville, Ft. Campbell, and Hopkinsville meets on the third Tuesday of each month, to have dinner, talk magic, share tricks & ideas, and to plan shows and events. The group invites area magicians and anyone interested in magic to come and join them.

TAP Statewide Progressive Network Meeting on July 22

 

Tennessee Alliance for ProgressTAP will hold a statewide progressive network meeting on Saturday, July 22nd, from 10 am to 4 pm, to take place at the Hendersonville home of Herman and Patsy Lawson.  This meeting is a follow-up to the day-long conversation that took place at the Compass III Conference. The goal of the meeting is build a powerful progressive majority based on the idea that “we’re all in this together”.
