Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Deputy Chief Michael Parr is retiring after 35 years in law enforcement. Deputy Chief Parr was hired with the Clarksville Police Department, February 16th, 1984.

He moved through the ranks selected as Sergeant in 1987, Lieutenant 1995, Captain 2002, and Deputy Chief in 2008.

Clarksville Police Department Swears in Ten New Officers

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, September 16th, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department welcomes Nicole Galikowski, Brandon Doss, Amanda Ingram, Renee Cannon, Renee Hampton, Dakota Lobertini, Lindsay Villalpando, Jessica Baker, Michael Ciupka, and Blanca Miller.

The New Officers and their families, along with Chief Al Ansley, Deputy Chief Frankie Gray, Deputy Chief Michael Parr, Mayor McMillan’s staff, members of the Clarksville Police Academy Alumni (CPAA) and other City Officials, gathered at the City Hall Conference Room while they were sworn in by Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today April 1st, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department hosted a retirement and promotion ceremony.

After Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan’s opening comments, Deputy Chief Frankie Gray and Deputy Chief Michael Parr presented Sergeant Andy Hagewood with a Certificate of Retirement and Officer Cris Hill with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Sergeant.

Clarksville Police Officers Gather to Support of a Local Girl Diagnosed with Leukemia

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, January 29th, 2015 at 9:30am, Officers from the Clarksville Police Department gathered to take a photo for Jenna King.

Jenna King is a local 9-year-old girl who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. She immediately began her treatments and will be receiving Chemotherapy treatments for the next two years.

Detective Candace Rundle came up with the idea because she knows Jenna King’s family personally.

Clarksville Police Department recognized for Outstanding Work throughout the Clarksville Community by Citizens Police Academy Alumni

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, August 11th, 2014, at the Clarksville Police Department’s Training Facility, the Citizens Police Academy Alumni dedicated a Flag Pole with a plaque, installed by John Stanley, to the CPD.

The Citizens Police Academy Alumni wanted to recognize the CPD for its outstanding work throughout the Clarksville Community. In quotations the plaque states, “A better understanding between citizens and police through education.”
