Montgomery County Multipurpose Event Center Road Closures announced

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Starting September 15th, 2020, there will be several road lane closures as crews work to tie-in sewer services to the Montgomery County Multipurpose Event Center (MPEC) site. The closures will take place from 8:00pm to 5:00am.

The timelines and locations have been approved and set by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).

Clarksville Gas and Water Road Closures for Water Service Line Work

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water utility construction crews are performing water service line work on Marion Street and Washington Street and have closed sections of both streets.

Marion Street is closed from Wilcox Street to North First Street and Washington Street is closed from Cumberland Drive to Elder Street.

The water service line work is anticipated to be finished and both road reopened by approximately 2:30pm.

Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and more in historic downtown Clarksville. Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon of frighteningly fun Halloween-themed activities.

Clarksville’s Bikers Who Care hosts 15th annual Bikers Who Scare Haunted House

 

Bikers Who CareClarksville, TN – The good folks from Bikers Who Care are back with their 15th Annual Bikers Who Scare Haunted House.

BWC member Steve Eckart says this year’s scare fest is bigger and better than ever, with lots of new rooms and more live actors.

“We are a 100% volunteer organization, and all the money we raise goes to BWC Children’s Charities,” Eckart said. “We love doing this, and we have hundreds of people go through here each weekend. It just gets bigger every year.”
