In 32 games, the Titans are 17-15 against the Texans, including a 10-6 mark at Nissan Stadium and a 7-9 record at NRG Stadium.

While the Titans have the advantage in the series, the Texans have won nine out of the last 12 battles. The Titans broke a five-game winning streak by the Texans in the series in the 2016 season finale at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee TitansHouston, TX – In their first AFC South division matchup of 2016, the Tennessee Titans rallied from a double-digit deficit to draw even with the Houston Texans in the third quarter but were unable to finish the comeback, taking a 27-20 loss to Houston at NRG Stadium.

Running back DeMarco Murray led the offense once again, recording 119 all-purpose yards and two rushing scores—Tennessee’s only touchdowns of the day—to mark his third-consecutive game with over 100 yards from scrimmage.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Houston Texans forced four turnovers and used three total touchdowns by quarterback Brandon Weeden to defeat the Tennessee Titans 34-6 at Nissan Stadium.

Weeden, who was in the lineup in place of regular starting quarterback Brian Hoyer (concussion/ankle), made his first start since being claimed off waivers by the Texans in November. He was efficient at Tennessee, completing 15 of 24 passes for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also rushed for a score.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (0-0) begin the 2014 regular season this week with a trip to face the Kansas City Chiefs (0-0). Kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium (capacity 76,416) is scheduled for noon CDT on Sunday, September 7th.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF News-Channel 5. Kevin Harlan will handle play-by-play duties, and Rich Gannon will serve as analyst.

Tennessee Titans lose 26-17 to Kansas City Chiefs

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Two Ryan Fitzpatrick interceptions late in the fourth quarter seals the Tennessee Titans fate as they lose Sunday 26-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs (5-0) are having their best start since 2003.

It was an up and down rollercoaster ride for the Titans (3-2). After the Tennessee defense stops Kansas City on their first drive, Damian Williams muffs the punt and Chief’s Marcus Cooper recovers it for a touchdown.
