Clarksville Greenway to Open New Addition

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is excited to announce the completion of the Pollard Road Trail Head with the opening of the latest addition, a bath house, this Monday, October 18th.

The bath house, surrounded by beautiful landscaping, features a water fountain and will soon feature a pet water fountain when it is installed in the coming weeks. The treed area directly behind the bath house is home to two picnic tables for those looking to rest or relax while exploring the Clarksville Greenway.

Rails-To-Trails pilot project about to take flight

 

rails-to-trailsWork is underway on the Rails-To-Trails project that has long been a dream of city officials and community leaders in Clarksville.

The pilot phase of Rails-To-Trails will include walking, jogging and biking trails that span 3.6 miles from Riverfront Park to Pollard Road. Eventually, the trails will extend four to five miles, all the way to Peachers Mill Road at 101st Parkway. «Read the rest of this article»
