Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Pike Resigns

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Deputy Jason Pike has resigned his position with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office started an internal investigation of Pike on February 26th following his arrest by the Clarksville Police Department for stalking.

Pike, 39, has been an employee of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office since 2008.

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University officials have received and accepted a resignation from Gary McClure, head baseball coach. Upon resignation, Cheryl Holt, Interim Athletics Director has appointed Assistant Coach Derrick Dunbar as interim head coach.

The resignation occurred after McClure’s arrest Friday night.

Marciano has been Upper School Head for this academic school year and has served as our Assistant Football Coach for two seasons.

Marciano will return to roots in Fort Myers, FL where he will take over as Head Football Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for the Pre-K through 12 private school, The Canterbury School.

Airport Authority Board Member to resign over vague state law

Montgomery County, TN – Local architect, and Regional Airport Authority board member Jerry Clark, submitted his resignation at today’s Airport Authority board meeting. Clark was identified by County Mayor Carolyn Bowers as to have a potential conflict of interest with the county under the County Purchasing Act of 1957. Clark is a county appointee to the authority.  Clarksville Online and Wjzm radio were the first to report the story.

In his resignation letter, Clark says, “Regrettably, I resign my position as Vice-Chairman and submit my resignation to the board of the Clarksville Montgomery County Regional Airport Authority, effective close of business, October 31st, 2011.” «Read the rest of this article»

Piper announces resignation from CDE Lightband

Clarksville, TN – In a surprise announcement today, Johnny Piper announced that he would be stepping down as the Superintendent of the Clarksville Department of Electricity.

His resignation will become effective on July 1st 2011; six months after initially being hired as the superintendent for CDE Lightband. While holding the position, Piper hired a Communications Director, a Human Resources Director, and launched a $390,000 renovation of the CDE offices on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. «Read the rest of this article»

Janicek resigns as Austin Peay volleyball coach

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University volleyball head coach Haley Janicek announced her resignation, Friday, to devote time to her family.

Janicek recently completed her first season as the Lady Govs head coach, leading Austin Peay to a 26-8 record, the program’s first OVC Tournament Championship since 1991 and its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Volleyball Championship.
