Tennessee Titans Individual Game Tickets available at Fort Campbell’s Leisure Travel Services August 3rd

 

Tennessee TitansMorale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – On Saturday, August 3rd beginning at 9:00am, Tennessee Titans Football tickets will be sold at Fort Campbell’s Leisure Travel Services in the Exchange Mall.

Only the tickets that remain from the season ticket sale will be available for purchase on this day; we expect the number of available tickets to be limited.

The cost for single tickets will be $75.00 each. There is a purchase limit of four tickets per game in accordance with LP Field Box Office standards.

THDA Announces Special Rate for Veterans

 

Planters BankClarksville, TN – A special mortgage interest rate discount has been approved for active and retired members of the military by Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s Board of Directors.

Service members can apply for the “Homeownership for the Brave” discount which is a ½-percent interest reduction on any of the three mortgage choices at lenders working with THDA. THDA offers 30-year fixed rate mortgages, with or without downpayment assistance, for persons of low to moderate income. House Extends Property Tax Relief to Surviving Spouses of Veterans

 

Bill would include hostile as well as non-hostile deaths to qualify

The Seal of the State of TennesseeNashville, TN – A bill, sponsored by Rep. Joe Pitts (D – Clarksville) extending property tax relief to the spouses of veterans, who are killed in non-hostile accidents while deployed, passed the House unanimously, 99-0.

There have been instances in which veterans, who are killed in accidents that are non-combat related, do not receive the same benefits as those who die while in combat. This bill (HB 980), stipulates that as long as a veteran is deployed, the family will still receive property tax breaks afforded those that are mortally wounded in combat.

This workshop will be held at the Army Community Service (ACS) Parlor Room from 9:00am to 11:00am.
