Mrs. Tennessee Petite America to host Holiday Collection Drive at Clarksville’s Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

 

tilted kilt 2Clarksville, TN – Mrs. Tennessee Petite America Crystal Nyhus, with support from the Clarksville Chive Chapter, will host a Holiday Collection Drive to benefit Sanctuary, Inc. on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 from 3:00pm until ­7:00pm at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery.

Sanctuary, Inc. serves victims of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Items needed for the drive include new bedding, any kitchen items, furniture, new clothing and coats, any toiletries, toys and books for ages, and electronics. Non­perishable foods are highly needed.

Tickets are $10.00 at the door, with children aged 12 and younger admitted free with a paying adult.

Attendees are invited to dress in ‘Rockabilly Style’. There will be a half-time show consisting of a Twist Competition with prizes for the Best Dancer.

SSF Invitational to hold cage match MMA fights at the National Guard Armory

 

SSF Invitational will be holding Vindication ssf22 at the National Guard Armory (1801 Ft. Campbell Blvd.) on November 20th at 7:00 pm. Plan to be there early to get a great seat.

Live MMA cage fights include Slapfest 2010, a 4-man Pankration tourney. And, the winner gets a big ole belt buckle that says Slapfest 2010 Champ! Don’t miss SSF’s next event for a great time!  SSF’s own Yannick Jones vs Sonny Lopez for the 155 title! Flight Case For Sushi is playing a live concert at the Warehouse

 

Flight Case for SushiThe rock band Flight Case For Sushi is playing a live Concert at The Warehouse (20 McClure Street) Friday May 22nd starting at 10pm. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. This event is open to people of any age.

Flight Case For Sushi is from Nashville Tennessee. They formed in the summer of 2008 and started recording a self-produced record in the fall. One year, 2,487 cups of coffee, 130 broken drumsticks later they emerged with an amazing full length album entitled “The Frequency Of Hydrogen”. Never ones to rest, Flight Case For Sushi dedicates their lives to their band and it’s listeners.

A “Rock for Autism” benefit concert will be held Saturday, August 23, at The Warehouse, 20 McClure Street, in downtown Clarksville. The Clarksvegas’ Inaugural Autism Awareness Benefit begins at 8 p.m. and features music by Hometown, The Anythings, The Southern Smoke Band, and Lloyd Nicely.
