Nashville Sounds fall at home to San Antonio Missions
The first run for the Sounds came in the bottom of the first inning. Andy Ibanez hit a solo home run to left-center field, giving Nashville the early 1-0 lead. San Antonio responded right away with a three-run second inning. Blake Allemand took the lead with one swing of the bat, hitting a bases loaded double that scored two runners. Adalberto Mondesi, Chase d’Arnaud and Erich Weiss had triples and Rudy Martin added a double as the Storm Chasers opened an early 4-0 lead. Nashville Sounds shutout by Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-0
That one hit came in the first inning, when Andy Ibanez hit a double. But Hernandez pitched masterfully, retiring the next 11 batters. Hernandez would walk Jett Bandy in the fifth inning before retiring the rest of the batters he faced. Omaha scored enough to win the game in the first inning. Nashville Sounds lose one, win one in Doubleheader against Oklahoma City Dodgers
After beginning game one up 4-0 from the start of the May 10th matchup, Oklahoma City started right where they left off with five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Zach McKinstry hit a three-run homer, his first of the season with the Dodgers. Later in the inning, Zach Reks hit a two-run homer to make the score 9-0. Four runs were scored by the Sounds in the top of the eighth. Nashville Sounds come from behind to beat Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-3
Trailing 3-2 into the bottom of the seventh, the first six batters reached safely for the Sounds. After back-to-back singles to start the inning by Christian Lopes and Nick Solak, Zack Granite’s base hit to center field evened the game at 3-3. Nashville Sounds get 4-2 win against Omaha Storm Chasers at First Tennessee Park
The only baserunners Palumbo allowed came via walks. He issued a two-out walk in the first and a two-out walk in the fourth but escaped both innings with no damage. He struck out seven batters and threw 54 of his 81 pitches for strikes. Jett Bandy fired up the offense in the second inning when he hit the first of three solo home runs by Nashville on the night. Nashville Sounds suffer 3-2 loss to Sacramento River Cats
The Sounds grabbed a 2-0 lead in the fourth, as Ronald Guzman blasted a two-run homer to right field to break a scoreless tie. The Sounds now have homered in 13 consecutive games and hit 25 in that span. Starter Tim Dillard, in his first outing since a nine-inning complete game, gave the Sounds another good outing. Nashville Sounds crush Sacramento River Cats, 13-3
The game was tied 1-1 in the third when the Sounds began their home run barrage. Andy Ibanez and Nick Solak each hit a two-run homer off Justin Haley to make it 5-1. Then Wisdom homered for the sixth consecutive game, going back-to-back with Solak for a 6-1 advantage.
