Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have released an updated photo of Carl Allen Whiteside Jr. Whiteside has a Criminal Homicide warrant on file for the overnight shooting death of Patrice Smith also known as “Apples” on Lincoln Drive.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking Carl Allen Whiteside Jr, who has a Criminal Homicide warrant on file for the overnight shooting death of Patrice Smith also known as “Apples” (B/F, DOB: 11-11-80).
Detectives working the case quickly developed Whiteside as a suspect in the shooting death of Patrice Smith. As the investigation progressed, information was discovered which linked Whiteside to the shooting of “Apples” and to Whiteside also being in the proximity of the area where the shooting occurred.
Clarksville TN – Arson is suspected in a series of vehicle fires early this morning in North Clarksville. According to a press release from Clarksville Police Department spokesman Officer Jim Knoll, the fires occurred within a fifteen minute time frame.
Emergency responders, including Clarksville Fire Rescue, got the call at 3:00am, and had their hands full when they arrived. The man broke into the High Notes Tavern on Ashland City Road on the morning of December 27th at approximately 5:00am.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in a Christmas day theft.
The thieves broke into the Walmart, 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard, while the business was closed for the Christmas holiday. The theft occurred between 1:00pm-1:30pm on December 25th.
Clarksville, TN – On September 6th, 2012, around 9:24am, Clarksville Police were called to the area in front of Kiddieland Day Nursery located at 207 Chapel Street, for a shooting in progress.
The nursery took immediate action to safeguard the children and employees that were all inside at the time of the shooting and took action to assist the shooting victims.
Officers arrived on scene in 3 minutes and found a 22 year old woman and a 25 year old man that had been shot.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for assistance identifying a commercial burglary suspect. The burglary occurred at 495 Kraft Street (All in One Auto).
The suspect came to the business several times prior to making forced entry thru the garage bay door. This is one of the suspects caught on surveillance video.
Clarksville, TN – A man on probation until 2016 for Theft, with numerous previous felony convictions, now has Two warrants on file for Rape and has been successfully eluding law enforcement. The warrants were taken after investigations conducted by Detective Heather Boyce and Detective Eric Ewing.
Erastus James Mummery’s (W/M, DOB: 12/17/83) Rape warrants stem from allegations of two separate incidents of rape occurring with different victims, time frames, and locations. Detective Boyce’s investigation was in reference to a September 2010 sexual assault which was recently reported.
Clarksville, TN – On December 2nd, 2011, around 9:15am, a woman’s Chevy Tahoe was burglarized within seconds after she got out of the vehicle to go inside of the business at the 700 Block of Riverside Drive. You can see in the video the male did not waste any time entering her unlocked vehicle after the driver exited.
He took the woman’s purse, cell phone, and some paperwork from inside of the vehicle. The male was described as a white male, short around 5 ft tall, thin, brown hair.
