Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – President Barack Obama declared Monday, December 24th, Christmas Eve, as a federal holiday to allow federal employees to spend the holidays with their loved ones.

Walk-in services continue to be available

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – After surveying the times patients were least likely to visit their primary care clinics, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital leadership has decided to reduce clinic hours and offer more appointments during peak times.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital ready to administer flu vaccine to TRICARE beneficiaries

 

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) is now prepared to administer the influenza (flu) vaccine to local TRICARE beneficiaries starting September 17th. Hospital staff members will determine whether the nasal spray or shot form of the vaccine is appropriate for each patient based on their age and medical history.

“Getting vaccinated provides the best protection against the flu and keeps you from spreading the illness to your family, friends and coworkers,” said Preventive Medicine chief Lt. Col. Amy Blank. People can also avoid getting or spreading the flu virus by washing their hands regularly and covering their cough or sneeze with a tissue or their sleeve, instead of into their hands. «Read the rest of this article»

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital offers School and Sports Physicals Saturday clinic available August 4th

 

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) will conduct school and sports physicals for BACH’s Tricare Prime enrolled beneficiaries ages 4 to 22 during clinic hours from now through August 31st.

Tricare beneficiaries assigned to a network medical provider may schedule an appointment with their network provider for school and sports physicals.

All beneficiaries, including individuals enrolled to a network provider, may schedule a school or sports physical appointment at BACH during the Saturday school and sports physical clinic which will be held August 4th in the Blue and Young Eagle clinics from 8:00am to 4:00pm. «Read the rest of this article»

Patients assigned to a primary care provider at BACH may receive the flu vaccine within their assigned clinic Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis during the hours listed below.
