Clarksville-Montgomery County School System to install New Visitor Sign-in System

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System - CMCSSMontgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is upgrading its on-site security measures with a new visitor management sign-in process.

This system will provide a higher level of school safety and security with immediate checks through the state and national sex offender database and creation of on-the-spot, personalized identification badges, complete with the visitor’s photograph.

Upon your first visit to any school this year, you will be asked to scan your ID card to be registered. This will take a couple of minutes, but once your ID card has been scanned into the system, each subsequent sign-in process will be shortened with just a quick scan and ID badge printout.

We appreciate your understanding of this change and the initial minor inconvenience you may incur as it improves safety for everyone.

The system will be going live in the upcoming couple of weeks.  Schools in the Kenwood Complex piloted the software last spring semester.
