Summers hosts community meeting

clr-clrksvl-city-council-logoWard 10 Councilman Bill Summers will meet with residents of the neighborhoods that lie along or near the Hwy 76 and Vaughn Road intersection to inform those residents of potential development of the former Hunter properties and other undeveloped land parcels that adjoin them.

Some rezoning of property is being sought, however, guidelines and restrictions upon the development area are being offered. Summers states he “has been briefed on the proposed development and see many favorable items that address the concerns that area resident have fought for in past zoning concerns.” The proposed development has only one proposed business at this time, but would prepare the remaining land for sale and office/business development.

For the purpose of getting information out to residents affected, Summers reserved the conference room at the Gas & Water Building on Madison Street for January 15 at 6:30 PM. The meeting should run approximately 45 minutes.
