Clarksville, TN – After the Thanksgiving rush is over, sit back and relax at the Roxy Regional Theatre with a rolicking holiday morsel that is sure to sweeten your taste buds and warm even the hardest of hearts. John McDonald, as Ebenezer Scrooge, meets the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future while rediscovering the true meaning of the holiday in the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, opening Friday, November 26th.
Featuring such holiday standards as “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen,” “The Wassail Song,” “Silent Night,” “What Child Is This” and more, the classic story is performed by Ryan Bowie, Travis Kendrick, Lisa MacAfee, Jackie Ostick, Collin Smith, Kendall Anne Thompson and Nate Washburn, along with a rotating cast of thirty-four local youth portraying the Cratchit children.
A Christmas Carol opens Friday, November 26th, with “Toys for Tickets,” during which patrons can bring a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for admission. Tickets will go on sale at 7:30pm, and donated toys will go to less fortunate children through Q108 radio’s toy drive.
Our regular dinner and show offering with Edward’s Steakhouse begins at 6:00pm on Saturday, December 4th. Tickets are $35.00 to include dinner and the 8:00pm performance of A Christmas Carol. Show-only tickets are also available for this performance.
A Christmas Carol runs November 26th through December 18th, playing Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, with 2:00pm matinees on Saturday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 18th. There are no performances on Wednesday, December 1st, and Thursday, December 2nd.
