Tennessee Bureau of Investigation releases Amber Alert update on Elizabeth Thomas
Thomas, 15, disappeared on Monday, March 13th and is believed to have been kidnapped by 50-year-old Tad Cummins, a former teacher at her school in Maury County, Tennessee. Tennessee State Troopers Look Beyond the Ticket and Arrest Drug Traffickers
Troopers pulled the vehicle over and spoke with the driver Robert K. Miller, 45, of Lincoln Park, Michigan. While speaking with him, troopers could smell marijuana inside truck. When asked about any contraband in the truck, Miller said he had a small amount of marijuana, but did not know what was in the boxes in the bed of the truck. The Tucson, Arizona, native followed up his second career shutout, Saturday, with a game-winning, walk-off home run to give the Govs a sweep of preseason Ohio Valley Conference favorite Jacksonville State to open the conference schedule. In Saturday’s complete game effort, he struck out 11 batters—including six of the final nine—allowing just three hits and a walk. It was his fifth career complete game.
