Clarksville Parks and Recreation now accepting registrations for Youth Volleyball League

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Are you looking for a way to ace your child’s activities this winter? Your child can bump, set, and spike their way through the season with Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s new youth volleyball league for youths in grades 5-12.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation invites youngsters in grades 5-12 to join the Volleyball fun.

This league will give participants the opportunity to play volleyball at the recreational level while still being competitive.

A trained coach will work with participants to improve individual skills such as bumping, setting, hitting and serving.

Practices will begin the week of January 7th and games will begin the week of February 4th at Kleeman Community Center. The season will run through mid-March. A single elimination tournament will be played based on regular season standings.

Registration for the league is available online at www.CityofClarksville.com/ParksRec through December 7th. The fee is $65.00 per participant. Each player will receive a T-shirt and a medal. Registration also is available in-person at the City’s recreation centers and at Clarksville Parks and Recreation, at 102 Public Square. Registrants must provide child’s birth certificate for age verification.
