Clarksville Pets of the WeekClarksville, TN – Clarksville Online will be bringing your pets from different rescue organizations that are in need of a good home in Clarksville-Montgomery County and surrounding areas. This weeks pets are for the week of November 6th, 2019.

Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

Rocky is a handsome adult, neutered male border collie/Labrador retriever mix. He is house trained, can sit on command and has lots of patience. Rocky is a very sweet boy and would make a wonderful companion. He has been at the shelter for a while and needs to find a home soon.

Deputy is a 1-year-old, 35-pound, neutered male beagle mix. He is house and crate trained, and gets along well with children, other dogs and cats. Deputy would love a home with another dog to play with and a big fenced yard to run in. He is a little sensitive to the cold and appreciates a doggy coat. He is an awesome pup with a great personality.

Nina is a beautiful longhaired white cat who had to be given up by her family for health reasons, along with several cats who look just like her. They range in age from 2 years to 9 years, with Nina being 9. She has a sweet personality, and will do best in a quiet home without small children. Nina is declawed, vetted, spayed, and litter trained.

Maggie is an adorable 3-year-old, spayed female chihuahua/Australian cattle dog mix who was abandoned on Hwy 79 in Dover. She is fully vetted, house, crate, and doggie door trained. She is very sweet and is a little shy of men at first but does warm up to them. She loves to cuddle and gives lots of kisses. Maggie has an insecure personality and would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog in the house. She is very energetic and needs daily exercise.
