Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water main improvement work on Public Square, weather permitting, on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at 7:00am and will close both northbound and southbound lanes between 116 Public Square and Franklin Street.
Motorists will be detoured to Main Street, Franklin Street, and North First Street to avoid the work zone.
The water main work is anticipated to be finished and Public Square reopened by approximately 8:00pm.
