Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water valve work on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 10:00pm on University Avenue and Franklin Street requiring a water outage and road closures to allow for the work.
Water service will be turned off on University Avenue from Main Street to Franklin Street and on Franklin Street from South Fifth Street to University Avenue. Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity.
Motorists are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route when possible.
The water valve work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the roads reopened on Tuesday, June 14th by approximately 5:00am.
