Clarksville, TN – James Lurton Collins Jr “Big Jim” , 61 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, December 22nd, 2025.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, January 1st, 2026, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery. The Collins family will receive friends from 10:00am until the hour of the service Thursday at the Funeral Home.
James was born on September 15th, 1964, son to the late James and Lula Collins Sr. He was a loving person who enjoyed helping others and giving back to his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Collins Ellwood.
Survivors include his uncle, Danny Collins and his wife Karen, aunts, Pasty McWhorter and June Gilpin; cousin Robin Riggins and many other loving family and friends.
