Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Obituary: Denny Kelton Parker, age 71, of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Saturday, October 10th, 2026.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Reynolds and Bro. Tory Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 11:00am until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home.
Denny entered this life on May 2nd, 1955, in Erin, TN, son to the late Rex and Mavis Parker. Denny retired after a fruitful career with the State of Tennessee Agriculture Forestry Department. In his retirement, Denny enjoyed spending his time telling jokes, fishing, and loving on his pets. However, his true passion was spending time with his grandbabies; he will be great missed.
In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his brothers, Troy Parker, and Larry Parker.
Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Wanda Sue Parker; children, Melisia (Michael) Lindsey, Kathey (Chris) Mathis, Sammy (Marnie) Bass; and sister, Lisa (Joe) Richardson. Denny also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Ty (Brook) Dillard, Tory (Rachel) Dillard, Tera (Leah) Dillard, Garett (Kristiane) Mathis, Lane Mathis (Matt Thompson), Grason Bass, Gracelen Bass, Riley Bass (Ian Cooskey), Marissa (Nick) Puckett; great-grandchildren, Drake Bowers, Annistyn Dillard, Wrenley Dillard, Branch Mathis, Dutton Mathis, Eric Puckett, and Charlotte Puckett.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Mike Tummins, Scottie Herrell, Brian Hughett, Gerlad Eaton, Mike Lindsey; with Larry Clark serving as honorary pallbearer.
