Austin Peay Governors Baseball to host the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, Tuesday

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay’s baseball team begins a five-game homestand when it hosts Alabama A&M in a 6:00pm, Tuesday contest at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Austin Peay (14-10) brings a three-game win streak into the midweek outing after posting its first-ever sweep of Southeast Missouri in a weekend Ohio Valley Conference series. It was the Govs fifth victory in their last seven games.

Senior right-hander Andy Cox (0-1) will get the start against Alabama A&M. It will be his first appearance since an opening-weekend start against Illinois State, February 19th.

Alabama A&M (5-19) has lost its last 14 games, last posting a victory February 29th against Tuskegee. The Bulldogs dropped both ends of a doubleheader at Alcorn State this past weekend.
