Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Saturday October 13th, 2018, around 11:00pm, Clarksville Police report that at the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Whitfield Road, a pedestrian attempted to cross the 101st Airborne Division Parkway to get to Tracy Lane just off of Whitfield Road.

The traffic signal for the eastbound traffic was green but, the female pedestrian in her 20s continued into the eastbound lanes and was hit by a 2003, Nissan, Xterra driven by Jose E. Alvarado Galvez, 45.

City of Clarksville, State of Tennessee agree on Trenton Road plan

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – The State of Tennessee and City of Clarksville officials have agreed on a plan to speed up widening and improving Trenton Road from Interstate 24 to the 101st Airborne Parkway.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan announced Friday that Tennessee Department of Transportation officials had accepted the City of Clarksville’s offer to contribute $1.8 million to help acquire the necessary right of way for the project.

Roadway is needed to relieve congestion in high-density section of Clarksville

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Tonight, Monday, October 24th, 2016 citizens interested in a project to ease traffic congestion in Northeast Clarksville are urged by Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and the Clarksville Street Department to attend a public meeting at Northeast High School at 6:00pm.

The City of Clarksville will host the meeting to discuss the project and the environmental study under way for the proposed Northeast Connector and related improvements.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Currently, there is slow-moving traffic on 101st Airborne Division Pkwy at the intersection of Trenton Road due to a crash with injuries that occurred just before 1:25am this morning. Sunday, October 23rd, 2016. Two vehicles were involved. injury status is unknown at this time.

Clarksville Police report Fatal Crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers responded to a traffic crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway at the Trenton Road Intersection around 2:43am. Travelers had to avoid this area until it was cleaned up.

One vehicle occupied by one person, the driver, struck another vehicle occupied by two people. In the first vehicle occupied by one, the driver was transported to Gateway Medical Center with minor injuries.

Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting September 10th, 2015

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that from Monday, September 14th through Wednesday September 16th, from 7:00am-3:00pm, there will be lane closures on SR 13 from just south of 101st Airborne Parkway to just south of I-24 Exit 4 for milling and paving operations.

This is part of the resurfacing project on SR 13 (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard) from Fairview Lane to Fairbrook Place.

This meeting will be to allow the Developer of the proposed grocery/gas station/pharmacy, that is being considered for the Whitfield Road area, to present their project to the community, so that you can be informed, and then give me your input as to whether you desire the project to move forward.

Clarksville Police Department gives Suggestions to Prevent Residential Burglaries

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Since late December and the beginning of January, there have been multiple residential burglaries in the area North of 101st Airborne Parkway.

The similarities of each of these burglaries are that the back doors were kicked open and multiple TVs, along with other electronics, were taken from the homes.

Clarksville Police DUI Arrests for February 25th-March 4th, 2013

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions.

Police made 14 DUI arrests from February 25th thru March 4th, 2013. The blood alcohol content levels ranged from .121-.201. Two of the DUIs were repeat offenders who had been previously charged. Five of those charged involved accidents.

Nathan Breeden, Nicholas Taylor, Victor Galloway, William Perry, Eric Barnes, Andre Higgins, Kelsey Hedges, Jeffrey Harvey, Theodore Hay, Jace Smith, Aaron Mauk, Richard Gilbreath, Dashawn Nicholson, and Peter Olson were arrested for DUI.
