Clarksville, TN – On October 15th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks targeting sales of alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.
Of the 13 stores checked, 1 was cited for sales to underage persons. Agent Pew, Agent Steinlage and Agent Lee are the lead investigators as these operations are ongoing.

Clarksville, TN – On August 29th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks targeting sales of alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.
Of the 10 stores checked, 4 were cited for sales to underage persons. The lead investigator is Agent Tanner Pew and these types of operations are ongoing.

Clarksville, TN – On May 2nd, 2014 Agents of the Special Operations Unit (SOU) conducted ABC operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.
15 Stores were checked resulting in 4 stores (26 %) being cited for sales to persons under 21 years old. Agent Tanner Pew is the lead investigator.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Commerce Street from Tenth Street to Seventh Street to replace a fire hydrant. The construction crew anticipates the outage to be in effect until approximately 1:00pm.
The street is currently closed for sidewalk work.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will close a section of Madison Street between Twelfth and Eleventh streets tonight at 9:00pm until 2:00am.

Montgomery County, TN – City Mayor Kim McMillan and Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers met with city and county officials this afternoon to determine a course of action regarding potential flooding along Riverside Drive. We are anticipating an additional three inches of rain this evening and have been informed that both Cheatham and Barkley Dams are closed.
With this information, businesses and residents in formally affected areas are urged to be prepare for any possible flooding.

Clarksville, TN – A Gas and Water construction crew will close the southbound lanes of Madison Street from 10th Street to Greenwood Avenue from 11:00am to 4:30pm today to replace a water service line on Madison.
Traffic will be detoured to 10th Street and Commerce Street for access to Madison Street.
