Clarksville, TN – For the first time this season, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis will hit the road for a 1:00pm, Friday, January 24th, 2020 match against Central Arkansas and a 1:00pm, Saturday, match against Southern Arkansas, with both matches being played at Burns Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis opened its spring schedule, January 20th, at 1:00pm, in the Governors Indoor Tennis Center by hosting Chattanooga in what they hope begins the road to defend their Ohio Valley Conference championship.
The Govs return four players from its 2019 spring squad that posted a 22-1 overall record in winning the OVC and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament, led by junior Fabienne Schmidt and sophomore Danielle Morris, who were voting by the conference’s coaches as the No.2 and No. 6 ranked players in the OVC respectively.

Knoxville, TN – No. 22/24 Tennessee (9-2) will open a two-game home stand and simultaneously close out the 2019 portion of its schedule on Sunday, as the Lady Vols welcome Howard (8-4) to Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:02pm CT. This will mark the first time these programs have met on the hardwood.
Tennessee is coming off a two-game West Coast swing from December 16th to December 22nd that saw the Big Orange come away with a split. The Lady Vols suffered a 78-51 defeat at (then) No. 1/1 Stanford on December 18th and closed the trip in Oregon on December 21st with an 88-61 victory at Portland State.

Knoxville, TN – The No. 23/24 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (7-1) plays host to Colorado State (5-5) at Thompson-Boling Arena in a 6:02pm CT contest on Wednesday. This match-up between SEC and Mountain West Conference Schools will be the first between these programs.
The Lady Vols close out a six-game home stand before hitting the road for a West Coast swing next week at Stanford and Portland State.
Tennessee suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday afternoon, as unranked Texas ended a two-game skid in the series with a 66-60 victory at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (3-0), who are receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls, welcome in-state foe Tennessee State (1-0) to Thompson-Boling Arena on Thursday night, November for a 6:00pm CT match-up.
After opening with two of its first three games on the road, Tennessee takes up residence on Rocky Top for a six-game home stand. After facing TSU, the Lady Vols welcome Stetson (November 19th), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (November 26th), Air Force (December 1st), No. 22/15 Texas (December 8th) and Colorado State (December 11th) to The Summitt. The Air Force game is UT’s Salute to Service game, while the Texas match-up is part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
