Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police were called to the 600 block of Central Avenue around 5:00pm, Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 after an elderly man was found deceased inside of the residence by a neighbor performing a welfare check.

The man had not been seen for an extended period of time which caused concern.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Central Avenue Closed for Water Service Line Repair

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed a section of Central Avenue from Woodard Street to Daniel Street to repair the water service line.

The work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 1:00pm.

Clarksville Police report Vandals Damage 10 Vehicles over Thanksgiving Holiday

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – According to the Clarksville Police Department, there were 10 cars vandalized over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend causing over $5,000 in damages.

The cars were struck by BB gun fire in the areas of Richardson Street, Swift Drive, Woodmont Boulevard, Central Avenue, and Cardinal Lane which are in close proximity to each other.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies find Mobile Meth Lab

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office discovered a mobile meth lab early Tuesday morning in the Ramblewood Apartment Complex.

Deputy Dale BeCraft was searching for a possible robbery suspect when he discovered a vehicle with two passed out occupants and a hypodermic needle in the center console.

Deputies were able to wake the occupants, Bryan Wayne Batson, 33, and Joni Sue Batson, 32.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Gracey Avenue from Stanford Street to Crossland Avenue and the outer westbound lane of Crossland Avenue from Central Avenue to Gracey Avenue is closed for water main maintenance work.

Westbound traffic on Crossland Avenue will be shifted to the inside lane and eastbound traffic will be directed to the outer lane during the work.

Clarksville Police report Shots Fired on Central Avenue early Thursday morning

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – In the early morning hours, Thursday, August 18th, 2016 at 1:52am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call that included an injury at the 700 block of Central Avenue.

After an altercation had occurred between individuals in the area, an unknown suspect began shooting his weapon towards the victim. The victim’s hand was injured by what appeared to be bullet fragments or a gunshot wound.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Central Avenue Lane Closure

 

Tuesday, January 26th, 2016

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the northbound lane of Central Avenue between Daniel Street and Woodard Street for natural gas main line maintenance.

The lane will be closed for the duration of the day, but will be passable during the work.  Motorist may avoid the work zone by detouring to Daniel and Woodard streets.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water contractors will be performing sewer line rehabilitation work on the following streets during the week of June 22nd-26th, 2015.

Work will be done on Maple Street, Chestnut Drive, Pinetree Road, Raintree Drive, Maplemere Drive, Batts Lane, Walker Circle, Linden Drive, Woodbury Drive, Hazelnut Court, Central Avenue, Trahern Circle, Glendale Drive, Park Lane, Downer Drive, Preston Drive, Fort Campbell Boulevard, and Strawberry Alley.
