Cincinnati, OH – The 21st-ranked Tennessee men’s basketball team will travel north for its first true road contest of 2019-20 when it takes on Cincinnati inside Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday night. Tipoff is set for 6:00pm CT on ESPN2.
Wednesday’s game is available on ESPN2, online on WatchESPN at espn.com/watch and on any mobile device through the ESPN App. Kevin Brown and Bryce Drew will have the call.

Cincinnati, OH – Quarterback JaVaughn Craig finished with 155 yards and threw for a touchdown as Austin Peay State University’s football team opened the 2017 with an impressive statement in a 26-14 loss to Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium.
After the teams played to a scoreless stalemate in the first quarter, Cincinnati took advantage of a short field to score the game’s first touchdown.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s athletics department has a limited number of tickets available through its ticket office for its season-opening contest at Cincinnati.
The Governors will face the Bearcats in a 6:00pm (CT), Thursday, August 31st, 2017 contest at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. Austin Peay’s tickets, available for $41.00 each, will be located in Sections 104-108 at the stadium (see seating map below).

Cookeville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s football team closed the season with a 49-7 Ohio Valley Conference loss at Tennessee Tech, Saturday, allowing the Golden Eagles to claim the 2011 OVC Championship.
Austin Peay finishes at 3-8 overall with a 2-6 OVC mark. Tennessee Tech becomes the OVC’s first two-loss champion, coming in at 7-3 with a 6-2 league clip.

Clarksville, TN – This is Austin Peay’s 75th season of college football, including nine non-scholarship seasons (1997-2005). They enter the contest with a 271-468-16 record.
Austin Peay has enjoyed only 18 winning seasons in 74 years of football and only two winning seasons since the turn of the century–a 7-5 mark in 2002 as a non-scholarship program and a 7-4 record in 2007 in Rick Christophel’s first season.
After owning a school-record 26 seniors in 2009, the Govs had half that many (13) in 2010. This season the Govs have even fewer, eight.
