Clarksville’s Riverfest to feature “Nashville” star Charles Esten Saturday, September 12th

 

Clarksville's Riverfest CelebrationClarksville, TN – Riverfest, presented by the City of Clarksville and Miller Lite, is pleased to announce Charles Esten of television’s hit series “Nashville” will be the featured headliner at the 2015 Festival. Charles Esten will take the main stage as the headlining event on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at 9:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Charles “Chip” Esten was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended T.C. Williams High School, made famous in the film “Remember the Titans.”

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUHilton Head, SC – Austin Peay State University men’s golf team will open the 2015 Spring season, Monday and Tuesday, as it plays in the 10th Annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Hilton Head Island.

The 54-hole tournament (36 holes, Monday, and 18 holes, Tuesday) will be played on the 6,828-yard, par-72 Wexford Plantation course.

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUHilton Head, SC – Austin Peay State University men’s golf team has some work to do if it is to maintain its streak of Top 5 finishes.

The Governors struggled to a 298-309=607 and sits in an eighth-place tie with William and Mary heading to Tuesday’s final round of the Ninth Annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tournament, being played on the 6,823-yard, par-72 Wexford Plantation course.

Austin Peay State University Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Thirteen home contests, including a visit from Big East member Louisville, highlight the 2012-13 Austin Peay State University women’s basketball schedule released by head coach Carrie Daniels, Tuesday.

Austin Peay will face seven teams that played in the 2012 postseason, including Louisville and Vanderbilt which both reached the NCAA Tournament’s second round. In addition, the Lady Govs will square off against five teams that posted 20-plus wins last season.
