Seattle, WA – The Tennessee Titans traveled to the Seattle Seahawks for their first preseason game Saturday night. The Titans started out on the wrong foot as starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw two interceptions in his limited time on the field. Hasselbeck was 4-5 passes for 45 yards.
“On the first play, I had a choice to take a shot down the field to Jared Cook or take a quick completion to Nate Washington on the left. I decided to throw to Nate, and it was kind of a freak thing,” stated Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. “It reminded me of my first pass the last time I was in this stadium, which was intercepted against the Saints. I remember Pete (Carroll) coming up to me after that pass and saying not to worry about it because we had the rest of the game to play. Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans re-signed Defensive End Dave Ball today. A seven-year veteran of the league, Ball has spent the past four seasons with the Titans while totaling 51 games played, 15.5 sacks, 203 tackles and 43 quarterback pressures during his tenure with the club.

Nashville, TN – With 3:01 left in the game, Matt Hasselbeck completes a 2-yard touchdown pass to Damian Williams to carry the Tennessee Titans past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-17 Sunday afternoon.
Chris Johnson carried the ball 23 times for a season-high 190 yards against the Buccaneers for an average of 8.3 yards per carry. It was the third-highest rushing yardage total in his four-year career, and the performance ranks 13th in franchise history.
