DBS & Associates Engineering to merge with TTL, Inc.

 

DBS & AssociatesNashville, TN – Engineering firm DBS & Associates, Inc., which has offices in Nashville and Clarksville, Tennessee and Cadiz, Kentucky, announced Monday, November 18th, 2019 that it will merge with TTL, Inc., an Alabama-based firm with offices in Nashville and four southeastern states.

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts announces David Smith as Interim Director at Building & Codes

 

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Clarksville Municipal Properties project manager David Smith has been selected as Interim Director at the Clarksville Building and Codes Department, Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts announced Monday, June 24th, 2019.

In April, Mike Baker, Building and Codes Director since 2012, announced he will retire from the post June 30th after 20 years with the department.

Montgomery County holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Wade Bourne Nature Center

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – On Tuesday afternoon, June 4th, 2019, around 70 people came out to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Wade Bourne Nature Center at Montgomery County’s Rotary Park. Expected to open summer 2020, the nature center is named in honor of Wade Bourne because of his long-time passion and commitment to conservation and the outdoors.

City of Clarksville announces Work to begin on next section of Cumberland Riverwalk

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Construction on the Red River Trail East – Phase I section of the Cumberland Riverwalk will begin next week.

Construction vehicles will enter and exit on the east side of 868 Kraft Street (Action Air of Clarksville) beginning February 4th and continuing through August 2nd.

Montgomery County reports Civitan Park Expansion on Track for Completion this Fall

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Based on a January 18th meeting led by Montgomery County Lead Engineer Nick Powell and Lyle, Cook & Martin Architect Brad Martin with general contractor Southland Constructors, several subcontractors, leadership from Montgomery County Parks and Recreation and County engineering staff, the Civitan Park Expansion is on schedule for completion for Fall 2019.

The group meets monthly to check progress and address real and possible issues of concern about the project.
