Traffic detoured to McCan Drive and Paradise Hill Road
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed a section of Glendale Drive from McCan Drive to Paradise Hill Road for sewer main repair.
Motorists will be detoured to McCan Drive and Paradise Hill Road during the work.

Clarksville Police report 41A Bypass reopened
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police announce that the 41A bypass has been cleared and reopened.
The 41A Bypass was closed due to an overturned asphalt truck at 1590 Ashland City Road. The 41A Bypass was closed in both directions between Seven Mile Ferry Road and Glendale Drive.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are at the scene of an overturned asphalt truck on the 41A Bypass, 1590 Ashland City Road. The 41A Bypass will be closed in both directions between Seven Mile Ferry Road and Glendale Drive. Seek an alternate route.
There is no estimate for reopening at this point. The company is being contacted for clean up.

Clarksville Police determine Dead Man found on side of Glendale Drive to be Homicide
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating the death of a man found May 5th, 2019, around 10:00am, on the side road near a bus stop on Glendale Drive as a homicide. The victim was spotted by a passerby traveling down Glendale Drive.
When the man, later identified as Matthew Clark, age 57, was found, he was already deceased. There appeared to be a possibility his death may have been as a result of being hit by a motor vehicle or an overdose.
Clarksville Police have ruled Matthew Clark’s death to be a homicide.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage for Friday night at 8:00 p.m. on Ashland City Road/Highway 41A Bypass and Glendale Drive for water valve replacement work.
The water outage will affect Ashland City Road from Glendale Drive to Seven Mile Ferry Road and Glendale Drive from Ashland City Road to Paradise Hill Road.

Clarksville Police urges Citizens to Be Aware of Suspicious Activity
Clarksville, TN – Today March 7th, 2016 at 4:21pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a Suspicious Activity call at the 1400 block of Glendale Drive. A witness stated that an unknown black female attempted to persuade her 9-year-old granddaughter into a car.
The juvenile stated that an unknown black female with a “perfect bun” (hairstyle) said “Hey, I don’t see your parents. Do you want to go to the store?”

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water contractors will be performing sewer line rehabilitation work on the following streets during the week of June 22nd-26th, 2015.
Work will be done on Maple Street, Chestnut Drive, Pinetree Road, Raintree Drive, Maplemere Drive, Batts Lane, Walker Circle, Linden Drive, Woodbury Drive, Hazelnut Court, Central Avenue, Trahern Circle, Glendale Drive, Park Lane, Downer Drive, Preston Drive, Fort Campbell Boulevard, and Strawberry Alley.
