Hopkinsville, KY – The Hopkinsville Community College Foundation has announced the 28th Annual Mike Foster Golf Scramble, coming up on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club beginning at 8:30am with a shotgun start.
According to Executive Director Yvette Eastham, the scramble is critical to raising funds for the foundation’s textbook scholarship.
Clarksville, TN – Wayne Pace and Cecil Morgan have come together for the 17th year to play a little golf and to raise money for a couple of worthy causes.
Morgan’s Tennessee team will be donating to S.A.F.E. (Soldiers and Families Embraced), and Pace’s Georgia team will be donating to a charity that is helping with hurricane recovery in the Houston area.
Clarksville, TN – Legends Bank will host a golf tournament on September 22nd, 2017 benefiting United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region. The tournament is a four man scramble format, and will be held at Clarksville Country Club.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:00am with a shotgun start at noon. There will also be dinner and prizes immediately following play. Tickets are are $100 per person, which includes box lunch, dinner, apparel and door prizes.
Clarksville, TN – Brock Blick wanted some cows. That’s all the 11-year-old talked about (along with hunting and fishing and golf and baseball), especially after spending the day on his grandfather’s farm. Brock would come home at night and inform his father they needed more land to hold all his cows—he wanted 15.
“I said, ‘Ok, we’ll do that,’” Mark Blick, Brock’s father, said. “‘When you turn 15, we’ll buy some land, and we’ll get you some cows.’ He absolutely loved cows.”
Fort Campbell, KY – In honor of the contributions and sacrifices made by military Retirees, Veterans, survivors and their Families, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell will host a Soldiers and Families for Life Appreciation Week September 21st-24th.
The week-long event will be held at various locations on the installation and will include an assortment of activities including a two-day job fair, Retiree appreciation day, benefits fair, golf tournament and street fair.

Clarksville, TN – We’re less than a month away from the annual APSU Governors Golf Classic, presented by Hand Family Companies, and spots are filling up fast at all three courses.
Limited spots remain as Swan Lake Golf Course, Clarksville Country Club and the Links at Novadell have generated great response for Clarksville’s only four-player, best-ball scramble that supports Austin Peay student-athletes through scholarships and program enhancements.
Clarksville, TN – Since hosting its inaugural event in 2010, the Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament has returned every summer to raise money for scholarships – and will do so again next month.
The Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th at Cole Park at Fort Campbell, KY.

Clarksville, TN – The Governors and Chamber Community Golf Classic and Partner Celebration Dinner is just one week away. However, a late change has forced the tourney to be slightly altered for Friday, June 26th.
The event, which has seen APSU Athletics and the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce combined their two tournaments, originally was scheduled to be played at four different courses (Clarksville Country Club, Cole Park at Fort Campbell, Swan Lake Golf Course and The Links at Novadell in Hopkinsville, KY.
Community golf scramble with wounded, ill, injured Soldiers and veterans
Fort Campbell, KY – The Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion is hosting the Inaugural Eagle Warrior Golf Scramble April 4th at the Clarksville Country Club in Clarksville, Tennessee.
“The Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion recognizes the importance of community involvement in the comprehensive care and support that it takes to rehabilitate our Soldiers back to the force and as productive veterans,” said WTB Commander Lt. Col. Bryan Walrath. “This tournament is just one way to raise awareness of who we are, what we do, and to say thank you to everyone in our community who supports our wounded, ill and injured Soldiers as they go through their transition process.”
Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Alumni Relations Office plans to welcome back graduates later this month with two special Homecoming events – the 35th Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament and the Homecoming Scholarship 5K Run.
At 8:00am on Friday, October 25th, alumni and the public are invited to participate in the golf tournament at Swan Lake Golf Course.
