Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Fire Rescue, Montgomery County Volunteer Fire, Clarksville Police, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County EMS and EMA are on the scene of a field fire off Charles Bell Road and Hampton Station Road.
Hampton Station Road is closed and residents have been asked to evacuate. No injuries are reported at this time.
Fire is spreading southeast from the railroad tracks in the area.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department capture fugitive Russell McCarley Jr.
Montgomery County, TN – Early Wednesday morning, July 17th, 2019, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Clarksville Police Department apprehended a fugitive from Logan County, Kentucky.
Russell McCarley, Jr., age 36, from Russellville, Kentucky, was wanted for attempted murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, 1st degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and fourth degree assault (domestic violence).

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Charles Bell Road from Hampton Station Road to Steel Stock Road for water service line replacement work.
Through traffic will be detoured to Steel Stock Road and Dunlop Lane or Hampton Station Road to avoid the work zone.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators and deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have recovered nearly $250,000 in stolen property in six separate theft cases.
Four all-terrain vehicles were recovered on May 3rd, 2017 on Hampton Station Road. The ATV’s were stolen from a residence in Clarksville. The property is valued at $10,000. Three juveniles have been taken into custody in connection with the thefts.
A skid steer was recovered on April 28th, 2017 on Monticello Trace. The items were stolen from a business in Clarksville. The property is valued at $80,000.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Webb Road from Hampton Station Road to Port Royal Road for water main line maintenance work.
Area residents may experience low water pressure during the work.
The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 3:30pm.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Webb Road between Hampton Station Road and Port Royal Road to repair a fire hydrant. The work is expected to be complete within 2-3 hours.
The road is open to traffic.
On Friday night barricades were put in place and traffic was detoured for the construction of the new crossing and drain culverts were installed just north of Hampton Station Road as part of the Hemlock Spur. Crossing gates are also planned to be installed before trains begin to cross Guthrie Hwy.
Jim Johnson Road is also scheduled for closure on October 30th, 2010 as they will also be installing the railroad track and crossing gates. These projects are all part of the Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation Spur project.
Clarksville, TN – Gas and Water construction workers will begin work to install a new six-inch water valve on Hampton Station Road on Sunday, October 3rd, at 7:00am to approximately 12:00pm.
Water service will be disrupted for residents on Hampton Station Road from Guthrie Highway to Webb Road.
The road will be open to traffic.
