Clarksville Police requests Public Assistance identifying suspect(s) in Theft of Catalytic Converters

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for your assistance in helping ID the individual and/or vehicle in the video below.

Over the last weekend we had several catalytic converters cut off of vehicles. One of the reports was at Jenkins and Wynne on Trenton Road. Another incident was in the Exit 11 area and the other two were in the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard area.

SpiritFest offers Fun, Family-Friendly Activities before Christmas Parade

 

Clarksville's SpiritfestClarksville, TN – The Fifth Annual SpiritFest – a holiday event from 2:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, December 7th – will offer a bounty of free activities, including visits with Santa Claus, rides on the Express Bus, four kids’ inflatables, live music on the new Downtown Commons stage, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity with animals.

APSU Basketball to face UIC in CIT quarterfinals

APSU Men's BasketballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball will host UIC, 7:00pm, Wednesday, March 20th, 2018 in the quarterfinal round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

That was announced Saturday, ahead of the four remaining second-round games in the CIT. The Govs, UTSA and Liberty are already announced as hosts, with the remaining host site and opponents to be determined Saturday.

Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Charlie Koon as New Chairman

 

Clarksville Area Chamber of CommerceClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces its 2017-18 Board of Directors.

Serving as chairman for a one-year term beginning July 1st, is Charlie Koon, Director of Workforce & Economic Development at Workforce Essentials. Koon was named the 2015 Middle Tennessee Workforce Services Employee of the Year by the Tennessee Department of Labor and in 2008 he was named Clarksville’s “Citizen of the Year.”
