“I remember what bit me,” he recalled. “I was on a ValuJet flight out of Florida. It was stormy, and I was scared, but when we got to the top of the clouds, it looked like snow.

Tennessee Titans Coaching Staff takes form

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak, in his 32nd season as a player or coach with the franchise, enters his third training camp at the helm. His total of 15 wins from 2011-12 was the third highest number in team history in a head coach’s first two full seasons.

Last year, the Titans fielded their youngest opening-day roster in seven years and then sent 16 players to injured reserve—their highest number in more than 20 years—en route to a 6-10 record and third-place finish in the AFC South.

Tennessee Titans Host 12th Annual High School Coaches Clinic June 11th

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Munchak and his staff will host the 12th Annual Titans High School Coaching Clinic on Tuesday, June 11th at Baptist Sports Park.

Attendees will have the opportunity to get a close-up view of Titans position coaches working with their players during one of the 10 offseason training activities (OTA) to kick off the morning!

Mike Munchak to remain head coach of the Tennessee Titans

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has made up his mind and is keeping head coach Mike Munchak for another year. However, he is letting chief operating officer Mike Reinfeldt go. Munchak had talked with Adams earlier in the day and relayed Adams’ decision at his Monday news conference.

“He (Bud Adams) informed me that he was making a change in the front office. He was letting Mike Reinfeldt go, and that I would continue to be the head coach going forward, and that myself, Ruston (Webster), and Mr. Adams would get together sometime later in this week possibly, when was good for all of us, to talk about the plan going forward and what our thinking was to get back to being in the playoffs,” stated Munchak. «Read the rest of this article»

The Titans begin their second preseason under head coach Mike Munchak, now in his 31st season with the franchise. Last year, Munchak led the Titans to a second-place finish in the AFC South with a 9-7 record. Tennessee Titans are Set for the Start of Training Camp

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Titans are scheduled to begin training camp this week at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville. Rookies and quarterbacks reported on Tuesday, July 24th, and they will be joined by the remaining veterans on Friday, July 27th.

Fans of the Titans can get their first glimpse of the 2012 squad on Sunday, July 29th, the first of 13 total training camp practices that will be free for the public to attend. Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Getting more athletic and versatile on defense has been a goal of the Tennessee Titans’ coaching staff during the offseason. That’s why Michigan defensive tackle Mike Martin was an easy choice for them in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Martin, a modern day Renaissance man known as a grinder on the football field, totaled 172 tackles, 10 sacks and 25 tackles for loss in 37 collegiate starts. The franchise had only recently parted ways with the only head coach in its Tennessee history, and team owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. had already made the decision to begin anew at the quarterback position.

But the foremost concern on the mind of team management, players and fans alike was whether or not there would even be a football season.
