Fort Defiance played host to a one day Civil War Artifacts Exhibit

 

Fort Defiance Interpretive CenterClarksville, TN – John and Nikki Walsh have been collecting Civil War antiquities for many years. During that time they have established a museum quality collection of historic Civil War artifacts from throughout the middle Tennessee region.

On Saturday many of these items came to Clarksville for a one-day exhibit at the Fort defiance visitors center.

Civil War Artifacts to be displayed at Clarksville’s Fort Defiance Interpretive Center Saturday

 

Fort Defiance Interpretive CenterClarksville, TN – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center will display artifacts from the American Civil War, such as weapons, accoutrements, and personal items from the average soldier Saturday, April 12th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center is located at 120 Duncan Street.

In addition to the artifact display, John Walsh will be on hand to answer any questions.
