Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates Shooting on Reda Drive

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at a construction site in the Dotsonville area.

Units were dispatched to the intersection of Reda Drive and Allie Kay Way at approximately 2:20pm on Thursday, June 4th, 2020.

Upon arrival deputies and investigators discovered Christopher Bumpus, 42, deceased with a gunshot wound to his chest.

After speaking to witnesses, Richard Bernardo Nolton, 25, was taken into custody.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office request help locating stolen 2017 Ford Fusion

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of Browning Court on April 14th, 2020 at approximately 2:00am.

Home security footage shows two masked white males approach several vehicles in the driveway checking for unlocked doors. A blue 2017 Ford Fusion was unlocked with the keys left in the vehicle.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office seeks public help locating Vehicle Burglary Suspect

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle burglary suspect operating in the Sango area.

A suspect was seen on video surveillance in the Nick’s Ridge subdivision. Vehicles in the Ivy Bend, Bellshire, Stonecrest and South Woodson subdivisions were also burglarized.

Personal items and a firearm were reported stolen. With the exception of one vehicle where a rock was used to break the window, there were no signs of forced entry on the burglarized vehicles.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Bikers Who Care play Secret Santa

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – The Christmas spirit was in full force over the weekend as the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Bikers Who Care (BWC) passed out cash to unsuspecting residents.

Deputy Jonathan Inman and Ethan Moss, along with Billy Hughes, Tony Janusas, and Jerry Ashworth with the BWC distributed $2000 to citizens on Saturday. They stopped motorist or shoppers and gave them $100.00 each in cash.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies recover Stolen Car and Gun

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Deputies have recovered a stolen vehicle and stolen gun over the weekend.

While on routine patrol Deputy Jonathan Inman located a stolen vehicle on Cumberland Drive. Inman followed the vehicle as it turned onto Martin Street and called for backup.

Inman, joined by Deputy Kelley Potter, attempted to make a traffic stop. When the deputies exited their patrol vehicles, the suspects made a 360 degree turn in the street, then drove off at a high rate of speed.

Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies complete crash investigation school

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Two deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office today completed a basic/at-scene crash investigation class offered by Tennessee Highway Patrol Critical Incident Response Team.

Deputies Jonathan Inman and Denis Bowles participated in the two-week course which was comprised of lecture and hands-on exercises about measuring the crash scene, photography, report writing, crash math, speed estimates, information gathering and more.
