Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery Central Elementary is one of 63 U.S. schools to have been named a 2017 National Title I Distinguished School. Schools are selected either for exceptional student performance overall, for significantly closing the achievement gap between student groups, or for excellence in serving special populations of students. Montgomery Central was selected for excellence in serving special populations of students.

Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has announced that Montgomery Central High School counselor Bethany Erb was named Tennessee High School Counselor of the Year by the Tennessee School Counseling Association.
Montgomery Central Elementary School has been selected as one of two Tennessee schools named to the National Title I Distinguished School Program.

Clarksville Montgomery County School System announces Administrative Appointments

Montgomery County, TN – Dr. Bryan Johnson, who is serving as director of high schools for CMCSS, has been named Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Johnson, who earned his doctorate from Trevecca Nazarene University, served as principal of Northwest High School for two years and was assistant principal of West Creek High School for two years.
 Stacy Maley has been named assistant principal at West Creek Middle School.

Montgomery County, TN – A high school principal has resigned to take a position in North Carolina and a number of administrative appointments have been made in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System for the 2013-14 school year.
