UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee kicks off a three-game homestand on Saturday when Mississippi State visits Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is slated for 5:00pm CT on SEC Network.

The Vols (9-9, 2-4 SEC) face their second-straight opponent from the Magnolia State after dropping a Tuesday night contest on the road at Ole Miss. Robert Hubbs III and Lamonte Turner scored 15 points apiece to lead UT while Jordan Bowden added 14 points.

Hubbs continues to lead UT offensively, averaging 14.4 ppg to go along with 4.9 rpg — the second-best mark on the team. Freshman Grant Williams, who paces the team with 5.7 rpg and 2.1 bpg, is second on the team in scoring at 10.5 ppg.

APSU Governors Football game vs. Tennessee Volunteers on pay per view

 

Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s football season opener at Tennessee, Saturday, will be televised on a pay-per-view basis across the state. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 5:00pm CT from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN.

The game will be available nationally on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN3, with a blackout in the State of Tennessee.

Tennessee Titans have several familiar faces in Training Camp

Tennessee Titans make changes to Scouting Staff Departments

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – On Thursday afternoon, the Tennessee Titans announced several changes to General Manager Ruston Webster’s pro and college scouting staffs.

The Titans pro scouting department has added Chicago Bears’ James Kirkland. From the Cleveland Browns, the Titans have added Luke Steckel to be the special Assistant to head coach Mike Munchak.

Tennessee Titans make Coaching Staff changes

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans hired Shawn Jefferson as Wide Receivers coach, George Henshaw as Tight Ends coach and Sylvester Croom as Running Backs coach.

Additionally, Dowell Loggains permanently moves to Offensive Coordinator from quarterbacks (moved for the final five games of 2012), Dave Ragone will move to Quarterbacks coach from Wide Receivers, Nate Kaczor moves to Special Teams coach from Assistant Offensive Line and Chet Parlavecchio moves to Linebackers coach from Special Teams Assistant.

Tennessee Titans Agree to Terms with Veteran Guard Deuce Lutui

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans on Monday agreed to terms on a one-year contract with G Deuce Lutui (Luh-TWO-ee).

Lutui (6-4, 338) has six years of NFL experience, all with the Arizona Cardinals. He totaled 93 games played for the Cardinals, including 72 starts and a start in Super Bowl XLIII.
