Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – On April 10th, 2019, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Woodward Library, along with the Department of Communication, hosted the inaugural Edible Books Contest in celebration of National Library Week. Students, staff and faculty submitted 15 food-based creations inspired by short stories, novels and children’s books.

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Fruits and vegetables don’t typically express emotion – there’s no such thing as a happy apple or sad tomato – but on April 10th, 2019 visitors to the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Woodward Library might spot an angry cluster of grapes, wearing a 1930s-era fedora, near the popular reading section.

USAA National Library Week Events at Fort Campbell

 

USAAFort Campbell, KY – Join Robert F. Sink Memorial Library as they celebrate National Library Week, April 14th–20th. You and your Family are invited to participate in special activities on “Terrific Tuesday”, “Wonderful Wednesday”, and “Thrilling Thursday”.

On Terrific Tuesday, April 16th, they start the day at 10:00am with “Blue Star Family Story Time and Craft”.  This activity is limited to 50 toddlers and registration is required. “After School Craft Bonanza” will be held at 3:30pm followed by “Where the Wild Things Are” at 6:00pm. R.F. Sink Library hosts Children’s National Library Week Parties

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Celebrate National Library Week with your child at R. F. Sink Library.

On April 12th, the Library will host two separate children’s parties in conjunction with its weekly story and craft time program.
