Dodging the Roadkill - A Biker's JourneyClarksville, TN – The 4th Annual Steel Horse Rally will roar into downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 4th and 5th, 2018. 

Dubbed “America’s Favorite New Motorcycle Rally,” this charity event is dedicated to “All Who Serve:” military, veterans, law enforcement and first responders.

I can’t wait to get there. 

Last year, the Steel Horse Rally drew more than 75,000 people and impacted the local economy to the tune of 13 million dollars.  

This family friendly, biker friendly, community event will feature more vendors, more activities and for the first time, professional and amateur racing.

Red River Sirens to Host Motorcycle Poker Run

 

Red River SirensClarksville, TN – Attention motorcyclists! Red River Sirens present “Lend a Hand — Win a Hand”! Clarksville Roller Derby’s Red River Sirens will host a fundraiser poker run on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. All bikes are welcome. The event begins and ends at The Bent Wrench Roadhouse, 4724 Ashland City Road, Clarksville. Rider registration starts at 10:00am. The kickstands will go up and the bikes will begin to ride out at 11:00am.

The entry fee of $20.00 per motorcycle includes one poker hand and a free post-ride party with music, prizes, food and beer. Back seat passengers are welcome to participate for a $5.00 fee. Riders can receive additional poker hands for $5.00. «Read the rest of this article»

Wingmen plan benefit ‘Poker Run’

 

The Wingmen Motorcycle Club will sponsor a Poker Run On May 31 to benefit the Veterans Temporary Emergency Assistance Program, which provides financial assistance to active and retired servicemen and their dependents. Assistance is provided for basic needs including housing costs, food, utilities and medicine. VTEAP operates solely on donations and money raised through events such as this.

The run will be launched between noon and 2 p.m. from Buddies on the by-pass at Appleton’s HD, with the run ending at 6 p.m. at the Wingman Motorcycle Clubhouse at 3437 Pembroke in Oak Grove, KY. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at the clubhouse. Card games and prizes are also offered. For more information, call Robert Warren at 905-0366.
