Clarksville, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County has a personal and profound connection to September 11th with many military heroes and families calling Clarksville their home.
So it is no surprise that almost 2000 tiles have been hand painted by Clarksville-Montgomery County residents as part of the Pillars of Hope: Remembering our Heroes through Art and Reflection since late 2012. A project dedicated to the memory of the September 11th attacks on our nation that honors and remembers those who serve our country.

Arts for Hearts Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, September 6th, 2018, Arts for Hearts Clarksville, Montgomery County Parks and Recreation staff, and volunteers will setup the “Pillars of Hope” Honoring our Heroes through Art at the Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street. The Pillars of Hope will be on display from 11:00am-7:00pm.
The Pillars of Hope is a commemorative piece of public art created by our community to honor and remember those who serve. The project began in 2012, a collaborative project organized by Rita Arancibia, Volunteer Clarksville, Hands on Nashville , APSU Ceramics Department, with support from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Clarksville Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council.

Fort Campbell, KY – MWR invites you to join us at Robert F. Sink Memorial Library for holiday fun on Wednesday, December 3rd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
This free event will include Christmas decorations, a craft for the kids, food and music as well as a reading by a Chaplain’s Assistant.

Fort Campbell, KY – Every April, military installations around the globe celebrate Month of the Military Child. Fort Campbell is among them and for 2013, Child Youth and School Services (CYSS) has fun events planned for children and Families throughout the month.
They will kick off the month with their Annual Parade on April 1st at 9:30am. Children from several of Fort Campbell’s child development centers will meet at the parking lot in from of CDC #2, located at 3071 Bastogne Avenue, and participate in a parade around the parking area. Fort Campbell, KY – Robert F. Sink Memorial Library will be partnering with Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) Medical Library to host a “Get Informed Wednesdays” information table once a month in “A” Lobby at BACH.

Each session is limited to 24 participants so sign up now.

Fort Campbell, KY – Feds Feed Families is a government-wide effort led by the Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Council, in partnership with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
From now through August 31st the nationwide Feds Feed Families 2012 Campaign will run on Fort Campbell.
The need for non-perishable items has grown over the years and as summer begins and children are left without school nutrition programs putting food banks across the National Capital Region and around the country at severe shortages of non-perishable items. «Read the rest of this article»
Program features Giraffes Can’t Dance
Fort Campbell, KY – R.F. Sink Memorial Library is happy to announce that they will be partnering with the Military Child Education Coalition for their annual “Tell Me a Story” program on March 18th at the Family Resource Center.

Fort Campbell, KY – Bring your little ghost, goblin or witch to R.F. Sink Memorial Library on Thursday, October 27th. The library will host two children’s Halloween parties in conjunction with their weekly craft and story time. The first party will begin at 10:30am and the second party will kick off at 1:30pm.
Children will enjoy showing off their costumes and working on a special Halloween craft. Light refreshments will be provided. R.F. Sink Memorial Library is located at 38 Screaming Eagle Boulevard.
