Clarksville Police makes Public Aware of Suspicious Activity

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at approximately 8:48am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to the area of 400 Market Street/ E Street in reference to suspicious activity.

Witnesses said a white male with dark hair and a mustache in a black Hummer H2, with a Tennessee license plate, J3493K, attempted to get a 7 year old child in the vehicle at E Street and Market Street, while the child was waiting at the bus stop.

Clarksville Police reports a man in a black Hummer H2 tried to pickup a child at the corner of Market Street and E Street.

Clarksville Police report Man in Wheelchair robbed by Magazine Salesmen

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On June 24th, around 2:00pm, two men approached a 51 year old man sitting in a wheelchair on the porch of his Rainbow Street residence and told him they were selling sports magazines. He let the two men into his house.

Shortly after letting the men in, one of them pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim’s head. In the meantime, the other man ransacked the residence, took the victim’s wallet, credit cards, cash, oxycodone and diabetes medicine. The two suspects ran out of the side door of the residence and left in an older model vehicle.

Robbery Claim Turns Out to Be False Report

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 13th, 2010, around 6:45pm, Joseph Robert Stewart called Police to report that he had been robbed by four men in the area of Locust Street and Chapel Street. 

He told officers that when he was walking home from the store four men walked of the woods, stopped him, pointed a black handgun and made him kneel down. He claimed the men took his wallet and ran off and provided Police a basic description of the robbers. He also claimed this type of incident had occurred before.
